Pastor Jackie founded Church on the Rock in 1985 and has a vision for this church, the city, and the world. He serves on the Executive Council for the Texas Revival Network, the Board of Directors for Prepare International, and the Leadership Team for Pray Lubbock. Pastor Jackie also speaks at Pastor's conferences all over the world in conjunction with Global Advance. He and his wife, Linda were married in 1974, and they have three daughters, Paige (married to Josh Allen), Leslie (married to Allen Rich), and Kelsey (married to Heath Watts).

Ministry Areas: Women's Ministry and Dream Center

Linda came to know the Lord in college and married Pastor Jackie in 1974. Linda has a degree in Family Studies from Texas Tech University, and has devoted much of her life to raising her family and helping to bring restoration to families here at Church on the Rock.

Linda oversees the Women's Ministry and Dream Center at COTR and she also travels with Pastor Jackie to do marriage seminars and pastor's conferences. Her family includes her daughter Paige who is married to Josh Allen, Leslie who is married to Allen Rich, and Kelsey who is married to Heath Watts.

Ministry Areas: Counseling,Transformation Ministry, and Adult Education

Pastor Gary spent several years in the business world as a comptroller, director of data processing, and administrative manager before coming on staff at COTR. He is an associate pastor and elder, and he oversees the pastoral care and adult education at the church. Pastor Gary is known for his spirit-led council and is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Pastor Gary is married to Jan and together they have two sons, Tod and Jason. They are also the proud grandparents of five grandchildren!

Ministry Areas: Elementary, Hospital Visitation and Outreach Committee

Pastor Larry has been faithful to oversee the elementary students at Church on the Rock for the past seventeen years! Through creative tools and his zany personality, Pastor Larry makes sure that kids enjoy and learn through every minute of Kid's Church.

Pastor Larry also serves as an Elder at Church on the Rock and is the Chairman of the Missions Committee. He is also responsible for the ministry of Hospital Visitation. Before coming to Church on the Rock, He spent five years at Texas Tech University and graduated from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.

He and his wife, Susan, have three children, Lindsey, Calla, and Landry.

Ministry Areas: Life Groups, Men's Ministry, and Assimilation

Pastor Robert spent 25 years in logistics management with Texas Instruments and another 5 years in a related field before coming on staff at Church on the Rock. He serves as an associate pastor and a spiritual overseer, responsible for new member assimilation, LIFE Groups and Men's Ministry. 

Pastor Robert and his wife Irma have been married 35 years and have two daughters: Mary Ann (married to Mark Lang) and Christy (married to Shawn Genenbacher). They have four grandchildren.

Ministry Areas:  Youth Ministry

Pastor Dean has been in ministry since the early 1980's when as a young
teenager he traveled with his family band called The Anchor Brothers.
For a period of 15 years him and his family traveled and ministered in
New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Colorado averaging
over 200 concerts per year releasing 11 cd's. 

Pastor Dean joined Church on the Rock in 1996 helping to lead all
aspects of worship.  In 2005 he started a brand new junior high ministry
and has been in full time youth ministry since 2008.  He pastors
6th-12th graders.

Pastor Dean and his wife Pam have been married for 19 years and have
four children:  Zachary, Christopher, Sarah, and Halle.
 

Ministry Areas: Service Pastor and Drama

Pastor Keith has spent over thirteen years in full-time ministry, and much of that time has been devoted to developing and challenging students to a passionate relationship and great destiny with the Lord! He received a Bachelors of Science in Religious Education from Dallas Baptist University, and he is a graduate of Teen Mania's School of World Class Youth Ministry.

Pastor Keith has been married to Jennifer for seven years, and they have two daughters Emily and Annie.

Ministry Areas: Nursery and Preschool

Pastor Cherri has taught preschool and kindergarten age children for 38 years! Her experience with children began in high school and she studied music education and children's literature while in college. Over the years she has served as kindergarten teacher, parents' day out teacher, music teacher, and preschool & nursery pastor.

Pastor Cherri and her husband Tom have three children, Thomas (married to Jessie), Michael, and Tiffany. They are also the proud grandparents to Nathan!

Ministry Areas: Ministry Training School and Communications

Paige Allen grew up at Church on the Rock and returned to her roots by joining the staff in October of 2002. Since working at COTR, she has started the Ministry Training School with a vision of training leaders to reach this generation for Christ.

Paige graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.A. in Organizational / Interpersonal Communications, and she is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity through The Kings Seminary. Paige also oversees short-term missions, serves on the Missions and Outreach Committee and works with communications here at Church on the Rock. She is married to Josh and assists him with zoe University Ministries.

Ministry Areas: Business Administration and Facilities

James was born and raised in Levelland, TX and graduated from South Plains College with an associates degree in Biology.  He continued his education at Texas Tech University and graduated with a BBA in Accounting. 

James and his high school sweetheart, Jennifer were married in 1998.   They lead a life group for young married couples and an occasional short-term mission trip.

Ministry Areas: Zoe University and Young Adults Ministry

Josh Allen joined the Church on the Rock team in September of 2003. He graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in Accounting and has worked in the business world for the past five years. Josh helped start and run a private investment management firm, and he speaks in high school and college circles, as well as, to adults about money management.

Josh has a passion for the University age young adults in this region and is known for his bountiful energy! Josh serves on the Alumni Board for Oral Roberts University and married his college sweetheart, Paige in 2000.

Ministry Areas:

She has been a part of Church on the Rock since she was in elementary school, and has been a part of the worship team since 1998.
 
Hannah attended the Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia, and received her Diploma of Ministry in Worship and Creative Arts in 2007.
 

Ministry Areas: Office Management

Administrative Manager does not adequately express all that Dixie does at Church on the Rock. Dixie manages to hold the entire office together, keep track of Pastor Jackie and Pastor Gary, answer limitless questions, and always have a smile on her face. Before coming to COTR, Dixie attended college and worked in the secretarial field for an oil company, insurance company, and in a bank Trust Department.

Dixie has been married to Steve for 33 years and has two children, Eric and Heather. She is also the proud grandmother of five grandchildren: Zane, Zachary & Zaden and Tori & Ian.

Ministry Areas:  Office Support

Jane Ann served on staff at COTR from 1986 through1999 before moving to Dallas to work with Global Advance. She has her BA degree from the University of North Texas.  She and her husband, Gary returned to Lubbock in 2006 and founded Gateway Missions with a vision to impact nations.
 
Jane Ann and Gary have been married for 38 years and have two children: a son, Brant and daughter, Amanda, married to Chad Hill and three wonderful grandchildren. Jane Ann has been involved in ministry and missions for over for over 30 years and brings a warm personality and spirit of excellence to the COTR team.
 

Ministry Areas: Financial Support

Sharon Mitchum came to Lubbock, Texas to pursue a degree in landscape and architecture. After receiving her degree, however, the Lord kept her here in Lubbock and brought her to Church on the Rock. Sharon assists James Fortner in the many financial duties of the church and has worked in the secretarial and accounting field for 20 years. Sharon has three children and nine grandchildren.

Ministry Areas: Office Support

Tanya is the joyful voice that greets people on the phone and as they enter the offices of COTR. She has been a part of COTR for thirteen years, and after working as a legal secretary and docket clerk, she joined the staff of COTR in 1999. Tanya has designed many of the props for the Christmas productions.

Tanya has been married to Jim for 31 years and they have two children, Vanessa who is married to Jason Brandiger, and Jared.

Ministry Areas: 

Kyla joined the Church on the Rock staff in February of 2005. 

In 2007, she graduated with a B.S. in Human Development & Family studies from Texas Tech University.

Kyla is married to Randall Osborne.

Izzy Gomez was born and raised in Lubbock and can be found most days working around COTR with a smile or a song. He keeps our buildings and grounds with excellence, and the staff sings constant praises of his joyous attitude and passion for Jesus.

Izzy is married to Janie and they have two children, Fabian and Ivy, they also have three grandchildren: Jaron, Jaylin, and Asia.
